Here are the people who keep us on track and motivated every day:

Laura and Greg Kincaid – Founders

Laura and Greg founded Sage Staffing in 1987 when they saw a need for a locally based staffing firm with strong community relationships in Santa Clarita and Antelope Valley.

Laura graduated with a degree in urban studies from Worcester State University in Massachusetts and moved to California where she began working as a recruiter in the staffing industry. She met and married Greg, who had settled in the Santa Clarita Valley after living all over the world, from California to Puerto Rico to the Marshall Islands because his Dad worked in the airline industry. Greg graduated from College of the Canyons, where he played football. He had a successful career as a sales person in the paper industry.

He was sales, she was service, and they combined to create a business that has successfully matched thousands of job seekers and companies over the years. In the process, they enjoyed mentoring many tremendously talented staffers and maintaining numerous friendships with company and community leaders.

Beverly Malin – Vice President Client Services

Beverly is the heart and soul of day-to-day operations at Sage Staffing, managing staff and developing client relationships. She is the go-to person for solving problems and creating solutions. She is a natural at making connections in her personal and professional life, and brings this talent to every aspect of our core mission: matching talented job seekers with great companies.

Beverly worked in human resources in both banking and private industry before joining Sage Staffing in 1996. She grew from an entry level recruiter to our vice president! She has a B.S. in business management/human resources from Cal State Northridge. She holds credentials as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from HR Certification Institute, a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from the Society for Human Resource Management and the Certified Staffing Professional Credential (CSP) from the American Staffing Association. She has served in leadership roles for PIHRA (Professionals In Human Resources) at both the local and executive board levels.

JoAnna Brison – Client Services Manager

JoAnna is the engine that powers Sage Staffing. She is the front line manager who is usually the first point of contact for companies searching for new employees. She coordinates our recruitment efforts and keeps everyone organized!

JoAnna is a staffing industry veteran, with more than 20 years of experience helping people find jobs. She joined Sage Staffing in 2004 and has interviewed and placed thousands of job seekers. She enjoys connecting with people, listening to their stories and finding the right job for them!
