The College of the Canyons Foundation is an important component of the educational experience provided by the Santa Clarita Community College District. They help fill gaps in state funding, provide financial resources to students and educators, and work to ensure that all those who seek higher education have the resources to do so. They do this in collaboration with their community partners and generous supporters.
Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit institution that provides pediatric healthcare to more than 111,000 children each year in a setting designed just for their needs. Today, their medical experts offer more than 350 pediatric specialty programs and services to meet the needs of their patients.
CHLA is a provider of more than $232.6 million in community benefits annually to children and families. They are a “community” coming together for a common goal: to provide outstanding public schools for the children of the Santa Clarita Valley. Their community consists of teachers and administrators dedicated to excellence; school districts providing the support for that excellence, business partners who see the value in their mission and know that great schools benefit everyone, volunteers who give their time and passion to improve literacy skills, and every citizen in their valley who cares about quality public school education.
Founded in 1997, the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research is a national, nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing pancreatic cancer research, and providing information, resources, and support to pancreatic cancer patients and their families.
For over 100 years, the American Cancer Society (ACS) has worked relentlessly to save lives and create a world with less cancer. Together with millions of their supporters worldwide, they help people stay well and get well, find cures, and fight back against cancer.
